Hello students! Today we will keep on with Study Island. See the previous post for instructions. Some of your passwords and sign-in names may be different, so you will need to see the password list. There are new criteria for passing your Study Island exercises:
- Minimum 20 questions for each activity
- Maximum 50 questions for each activity
- Must have 70% to receive credit
We will also complete your “Do the Write Thing” essay and submit it to Edmodo. If you are going to enter the contest you will need to print out the cover page.
Common Core Standards: CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RI.8.4 Determine the meaning of words and phrases as they are used in a text, including figurative, connotative, and technical meanings; analyze the impact of specific word choices on meaning and tone, including analogies or allusions to other texts.
