You will be wrapping up your work on Text Features and beginning on Benchmark L.A.8.2.1.2: Locate and analyze elements of characterization, setting, and plot, including rising action, conflict, resolution, theme, and other literary elements as appropriate in a variety of fiction.
- In your groups, discuss the chart on pg. 57 in your workbook and complete it in your composition book
- Read about “Setting and Mood” pg. 58
- Listening comprehension – read along pg. 59-71 “The Monkey’s Paw”
