Getting started: Go to http://www.wordpress.com and click on Create Website. Choose the topic “Education” and what you would like your Portfolio to look like. Choose your Domain name – it MUST be firstnamelastinitialmdcps – then select the domain that comes up as firstnamelastinitialmdcps.wordpress.com (that’s the free one). You will need to put your email address and create a password for your wordpress account. You should receive an email and you will need to verify your email address before you can publish. Once you are in, change the name of your site to Firstname’s Online Portfolio. Your first assignment will be to publish your first book “report” for the nine weeks as a blog post.
