Good day students! Today and the rest of this week we will be starting to explore the Common Core Curriculum in more detail. Today in particular we will be looking at one of the older FCAT standards – Identify Organization of Ideas (L.A.8.1.7.5) – In the Interactive Reader and Writer, you will be working in your groups to:
- make a runner’s checklist in your journal pg. 18
- “Learn the Skill” pg. 18
- read the two non-fiction passages pg. 19-25
- complete the FCAT Practice questions pg. 26 on Socrative
